Drops of falling rain
Splashing on my window
Tapping at the panes
Napping on my pillow

I thought I’d save things to do for a rainy day
But, now my time, I want to spend it all with you
And leave my troubles to the world outside
Draw the blinds, so I can cuddle close to you

To you I pledge my soul
Every time I wake up
Know you’re not alone
No more nights you’ll wait up

So I stay to play with you

You threw all my worst fears to the ground

And loosing it only brings me down

Down beneath her smile
