NERFA 2009 Recap
November 25th, 2009
It’s over a week since I’m back from NERFA ’09 and I’m still just getting back into my groove. This year’s conference marked 2 years since I began the journey to making “Traveling Salesman”, connect with new northeast fanbase, developing a booking and management team, and now getting ready to make a new record.
It’s been a journey of milestones-met and dreams fulfilled. It’s amazing to be here writing this with all of my goals for 2009 checked-off. I sit, now, to focus on the next steps; setting intentions and working towards them into 2010.
NERFA was incredible. Many of the folks who inspired me to dive into music again weren’t there. Many were off playing concerts for venues met at the conference just a year or two before. They were missed, but I’ll admit that it did open a door for us to step through and show folks what I can do – both solo and with the band. Our Folk DJ and Tricentric Showcases went off without a hitch. I performed 12 different showcases over the weekend, and still managed to make new friends and share stories with old friends and colleagues.
Below you can find some pix and also some video from our Folk DJ and Tricentric Showcases!
Thanks!
