Operation Hel-Jo-Re-Nu-Fa!

I know it’s winter outside, but it feels like spring as far as this “Traveling Salesman” is concerned. Having spent so much time last year sowing musical seeds, it’s really exciting to see buds of opportunity “springing” to life. Thank you for coming to the shows and spinning the record. I have an exciting vision of where I want to take My Beautiful Band, and I cannot do it without your continued support.

Have you ever said…

“My friend’s band is really good! They should play here!”, or…
“My friends music is as good as this stuff I’m hearing on the radio, why aren’t they playing him?”, or…
“This show was great! Why were there only 10 people here to see it?”

If you’ve ever said anything like these things, then there is something important you need to know. There are literally thousands of artists like me in NY alone. The venues and stations, and even your friends, are innundated with so many options that it’s very difficult for me alone to make enough noise to be noticed. But, there is a way!

Operation Hel-jo-re-nu-fa!

That translates to: Operation HELp-JOe-REach-NU-FAns!

Take any two bands with a similar level of talent and you’ll see that the only thing separating them is the spirit and involvement of their fans. I can show up and put on a great show. I can make it one to remember. That’s my promise. That’s my job.

But, I can only make the noise inside the club. I need you to keep making the noise outside. Only you can convince the people, clubs, labels and local radio stations that “Joe Iadanza and His Beautiful Band”, are worth their time.

You can help by joining me in Operation Hel-Jo-Re-Nu-Fa! Each month I’m going to come up with a fun challenge for my friends and fans. There will be winners each month! I’ll post names and pictures of the winners on my website, facebook and myspace pages. Hopefully these challenges will not only help grow the music, but also the spirit of community too.
