Video-Photos from last night’s “Wild About Harry” Tribute

August 28th, 2008

Last night’s 4th Annual “Wild About Harry” tribute concert was amazing! I have never played before that many people before. It was so much fun. It looked like around 1500-2000 people came out to honor the late Mr. Chapin. I want to say thank you to my friend Stuart Markus for inviting me to play “Tangled Up Puppet” for the festivites. It was an honor to be there.

Some of my favorites from the night were Ed Ryan’s show-opening “W*O*L*D”, Glen Roethel (with Hillary Foxsong & Stuart Markus) doing “Sandy”, and Chirstine Solimeno on “You are the Only Song”.

My wife took this video of me on her little cyber-shot… I’m a little bleached out in the spotlight, but the sound comes through pretty decently.

Extra special thanks to my Dad and Diane for coming out, and to Jenny and Emma too. I was, admittedly, very nervous and excited. But, I managed to stay present for the whole experience. It was a really special and memorable night. I sure wouldn’t mind more nights like this one.

Photos are by the amazing Hillary Foxsong… Visit HERE for her photo album of all the artists from the evening.

Thanks for listening!

Much Love,
Joe
