Sixteen Working Days!

The countdown has begun! The artwork has shipped to Oasis CD manufacturing and the CD master will be shipping to them next week. Oasis is pretty good about their guaranteed turn-around times. So, if everything runs smoothly, CD’s should be shipping to me in sixteen working days!

I’ll be posting mp3’s next week for you all to hear! The record is really done and the folks who’ve heard it so far seem to really enjoy it.

Special thanks to Jen, Joe H, Craig, Carolin, Glen, Stu, Hillary, Paul, Rorie, Larrin, Chris, Jay, Tom, Adele, Matt and Tara for taking time to listen so enthusiastically to the reference masters, and for hanging out over the last few days. These impromptu listening parties (two of them packed in my Jeep!) have been a real treat for me.

Extra special thanks to Michael Kornfeld (acousticmusicscene.com) for not only listening twice in my car… But, also for all of his great advice and guidance. He is a true lover of music and he’s excitement is contagious.

The best part of this project (hands down!) has been the friendships that took root in the process.
