“Gathering Time” Vocal Sessions

Wow! Can these folks sing!
Glen, Stu and Hillary came in for a late night session, and they just nailed everything. I wish I recorded them just warming up, because even that was like a bowl of hot soup on a cold day.
The trio had been backing me up in harmony throughout the verses of one of the new songs. But, after listening back, Jon and I decided that they sounded so good on their own, we’d just let them fly without me. I still come in on the bridge and chorus, but having them take the lead for a song really added something I wouldn’t have been able to forsee. My wife’s a little nervous. She likes the way I sing it. But, this is really something special.

Song for a Rainy Day moves me deep down to my soul and I play it over and over in my head. I can’t wait to get the CD.
